I’m not going to speak to all the photos I took, but the grounds speak for themselves. The gift shop has lots of Southern decor, books, garden things. All the buildings are really authentic to the time period portrayed.

In 1829, General Wade Hampton began the task of enlarging the Donaldson Cottage and transforming it into the Classical Revival Mansion that stands today.
